"In creating this body of work, I was aware that it would be my last before a hiatus. With this is mind, I chose to focus on the most fundamental and unchanging element of my practise: striation, the objectification of time through a simple repeated action, the blurred line between work and meditation.

More concerned with absence than presence, the minimum interference has taken place. Only the slightest hint of form is permitted and even then, only that which conforms to the set of rules and exclusions which I established before beginning. The simplest incisions are encrypted in the static."
